Calico Poppy Studio exists to preserve stories through photography, art, heirloom products, and thoughtfully designed digital resources. Throughout these Terms of Service, the words "we," "our," and "us" refer to Calico Poppy Studio.

By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and any additional policies posted on this website.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website.

Our Products

We offer a growing collection of products including:

Because many of our products are handcrafted or custom printed, slight variations in color, paper texture, cropping, or appearance may occur. Screen colors may also vary between devices.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products without prior notice.

Orders

When placing an order, you agree that:

  • All information provided is accurate.
  • Payment must be received before production begins.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

For custom projects, work begins after consultation and payment.

Custom Legacy Books

Legacy Books are custom-designed heirloom books created specifically for each client.

Because every project is personalized:

  • Consultation fees are non-refundable.
  • Design work begins after payment or deposit.
  • Clients are responsible for reviewing all proofs carefully.
  • Final approval authorizes production.
  • After approval, Calico Poppy Studio is not responsible for spelling errors, names, dates, or information approved by the client.

If a printed Legacy Book arrives damaged due to manufacturing defects or shipping damage, please contact us within seven days.

Digital Downloads

Digital products are licensed—not sold.

Your purchase grants you a personal-use license unless otherwise stated.

You may not:

  • Share files
  • Resell files
  • Upload files online
  • Redistribute files
  • Claim artwork as your own
  • Use files commercially without written permission

Because digital files are immediately accessible after purchase, all digital sales are final.

Intellectual Property

All photographs, artwork, graphics, journal designs, text, branding, logos, downloads, and website content remain the intellectual property of Calico Poppy Studio.

Purchasing a product does not transfer copyright ownership.

Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.

AI-Assisted Artwork

Some illustrations and design elements are created with the assistance of artificial intelligence and are thoughtfully curated, edited, enhanced, and incorporated into original works by Calico Poppy Studio.

Whenever AI-assisted artwork is included, it will be disclosed within the product listing.

Limitation of Liability

Calico Poppy Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

We want you to love everything you purchase from Calico Poppy Studio.

If something isn't right, we're happy to help.

Physical Products

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

Items must be:

  • Unused
  • In original condition
  • In original packaging

Please contact us before returning any item.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Damaged Orders

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days with photos so we can make it right.

Digital Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products, all digital download sales are final.

Refunds cannot be issued once files have been downloaded.

If you experience technical difficulties accessing your files, we are happy to help.

Legacy Books

Because Legacy Books are custom-created:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Design fees are non-refundable once work has begun.
  • Final printed books cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect or shipping damage.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for your financial institution to complete the refund.

Delivered immediately after purchase through Shopify.

Physical Products

Most orders ship within:

Custom products may require additional production time.

Legacy Books

Because every Legacy Book is handcrafted, production may take:

3–6 weeks

You will receive updates throughout the design process.
